Fayette FACTOR Selected as Non-Profit Recipient of the 2021 Peachtree City Clubs Charity Classic


Peachtree City Clubs, a leader in private clubs in Fayette County, announce they will host its 2021 Charity Classic, the company’s major annual philanthropic event, to be held in October at their golf clubs and recreation area of ​​Fayette County. For these three events, their private clubs will be open to the community, so guests can experience a fun and eventful day of activities. This year’s theme emphasizes unity: “Together We Care… United We Can!”

All events at the three clubs, Braelinn, Flat Creek and Whitewater are open to the general public. The funds raised will benefit the local association Fayette FACTOR and The Foundation Employees Partners Care, each a 501 (c) 3. Fayette FACTOR has been committed to the well-being of our community for over 20 years and has received the 2020 Piedmont Fayette Non-Profit Award of Excellence from the Fayette Chamber of Commerce for its services to Fayette County.

Dawn Oparah, Executive Director of Fayette FACTOR, said, “We are thrilled to be a major recipient of the Charity Classic 2021. These funds will allow us to continue to strategically promote the well-being of the Fayette County community. , including addressing important issues such as mental health; early learning initiatives that support parents of children 0-5; and support Fayette community human service organizations working on identified community issues.

The Employee Partners Care Foundation will also benefit from this year’s Charity Classic. This program, created to assist employees and their immediate families in times of need, has helped more than 2,100 ClubCorp employees with more than $ 2.5 million since its inception in 2007. With more than 20,000 Collaborator Partners, 98% of requests are validated and the EPCF receives five requests for assistance per week.

Braelinn Golf will hold its annual Charity Classic on Saturday October 9, 2021.

Guests can experience a day full of activities, such as running / walking the course, family Olympic golf games and pétanque, the day ending with a ‘Sinatra under the stars’ themed dinner dance and a silent auction.

Flat Creek Golf Club Charity Classic, on the theme “Golftoberfest”, is open to the whole community and will take place on Friday October 15, 2021 and Saturday October 16, 2021. Guests will enjoy a Golftoberfest where they will experience the 18-hole Ungeheuer (monster) Scramble, a German beer garden with Octoberfest-themed music, a German buffet dinner, silent auctions and contests. On October 16, 2021, everyone is invited to enjoy Pickle cutlet, a pickleball tournament.

Whitewater Creek Country Club Charity Classic, themed ‘Bogey Nights – Back to the 70s’, takes place on Saturday, October 23, 2021, where guests will experience a’ 70s-themed social extravaganza that includes a four-hour full-service bar, Prime Rib dinner and Pasta Station, Wine service, games on the terrace, competition, disco dance and auction.
