Directs for 100% saturation of stakeout areas

SRINAGAR: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad today chaired a meeting of Zonal and Sector Officers in the District to review progress in the implementation of Centrally Sponsored Programs (CSS) at the meeting room of the DC office complex, here.
On this occasion, the DC was informed in detail of the achievements made so far in the framework of the programs sponsored by the center, including PMAY-G, PMAY-U, PM Kissan, PMJJBY, PMGSY, PM-JAY, Soil Health Card, PM Atal Yojna, PMKKY, SVAMITVA, SEHAT cards and national family allowance scheme.
The DC urged relevant departments and financial institutions to work for the overall development of the district and the welfare of the target population with more dedication and sincerity, so that 100% saturation is achieved in the under all mentioned centrally sponsored programs.
In this regard, he instructed the Senior District Manager to monitor and follow up the work on a monthly basis with respect to departments and banks under government sponsored programs for the eradication of educated youth unemployment , hassle-free loan facilities to generate new units of income.
The DC insisted on conducting IEC activities for mass sensitization to educate the public about job creation and social security schemes in the district so that the maximum number of people benefit.
The DC has instructed implementing departments to achieve saturation in all centrally sponsored schemes within set timeframes to ensure that scheme benefits flow to the last beneficiary.
Also, Srinagar Supplementary District Development Commissioner, Zahoor Ahmad Mir and Joint Director of Planning, Mohammad Yaseen Lone attended the all district/sector officer meeting.
