Emphasizes the proactive role of the departments in taking charge of young people

BANDIPORA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmed chaired a meeting of Mini-Secretariat Officers here on Monday to review progress in the implementation of the various beneficiary-focused programs.
The CD reviewed the performance and achievements of the various departments and the services provided by the various departments.
On this occasion, the CD was briefed on the achievements made so far under various self-employment, agricultural credit and other beneficiary-oriented programs.
He urged relevant departments to work for the overall development of the district and the welfare of the target population with more dedication and sincerity to achieve 100% saturation in all programs.
Dr. Owais highlighted the proactive role of various departments in reaching out to young people in government sponsored programs for the eradication of unemployment and hassle-free facilities to generate new units of income.
The DC insisted on conducting IEC activities for mass sensitization to educate the public about job creation and social security schemes in the district so that the maximum number of people benefit.
Dr. Owais urged young people to come forward to harness the benefits of various youth-focused programs.
The meeting was attended by ICDS DPO Mohd Ashraf Hakak, Joint Planning Director Imtiyaz Ahmad, CAHO, DIC Functional Director Bandipora and other concerned officers.
